KONGA Cph is a family business led by two of us, Goda and Paulius.
A conscious footprint is a core of the KONGA's philosophy inspired by our son Vincas. He used to call 'Konga' his socks.
Therefore we feel responsible to leave our footprint with minimal impact on nature and direct to a human.
We choose
craftsmanship.
For 15 years, we have been building on our expertise in furniture manufacturing. For five years, we have been in the hospitality business. So we grew up in our industries.
Now, backed by our extensive professional experience, we join our own craftsmanship and design into life.
We work with leading Danish architects Mette Fredskild and Kristian Ahlmark.
Together with Mette, we have developed a unique zero-waste shelving system called ‘25x25’. Natural, functional, and convenient daily.
Collaboration with Kristian led us into conceptual clarity by creating 'TENON' kitchen where simplicity is a core.
Our architects have chosen oak wood as a core element.
And we do not compromise here.
We cut and craft the facade of every KONGA Cph kitchen from a single oak log.
It takes a lot of precision and craft skills to make perfectly matching structures from long pieces of wood. But the result is worth the effort. We do not waste any bit of wood.
After cutting the facade, we use hardwood leftovers to produce drawer boxes for your kitchenware.
It is our way to preserve natural resources and make them cost-effective.
We are limited.
So as wood supply is.
Our maximum capacity is 2 kitchens per month.
Our delivery time is 3 months after the order is placed.
We decided to be small in scope and in love with our work.
Carpenters
we
value.
Our lead carpenter, Kestas, is a true nature and forests' enthusiast.
Surrounded by woods since his childhood, Kestas and the team everyday creates beautiful KONGA Cph kitchens' facades.
